DealNote — Privacy Policy

Last updated: 28 June 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Funtika (“DealNote”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use the DealNote mobile application and related services (the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to this Policy.

1. Summary

  • DealNote is local-first: your data lives on your device and works offline. Cloud sync is optional.
  • When you use the AI “organize” feature, the text of your note is sent to Anthropic to structure it. You can also enter everything manually.
  • We do not sell your personal information.
  • You can delete your data and account at any time (see Section 9).

2. Information we collect

a. Information you provide (“Your Content”). Whatever you put into a deal or note, including: deal titles, brand/client names, amounts, currencies, and statuses; deliverables, payments, commission splits, and expenses; to-dos and meetings; people and contacts you add (such as names, roles, and phone numbers); and files you attach (e.g., contracts, briefs, invoices).

b. Account and authentication data. When you sign in, we process an account identifier. Sign-in is via anonymous authentication or a third-party provider such as Google Sign-In; if you use Google, we receive basic profile information permitted by that sign-in.

c. Subscription and purchase data. If you buy a subscription, the purchase is processed by Apple or Google and managed via RevenueCat. We receive purchase and subscription status and related identifiers, not your full payment card details.

d. WhatsApp inbound data. If you use WhatsApp capture, the messages you send or forward to the DealNote number are received and processed to create deals in your account.

e. Device and diagnostic data. We and our service providers may process limited technical data such as device type, operating system, app version, and crash or performance diagnostics, to operate and improve the Service.

f. On-device secrets. If you provide your own Anthropic API key, it is stored in your device’s secure storage and is not collected by us.

3. How we use information

We use information to:

  • provide the core function — turning your notes into structured, trackable deals, and showing your lists, calendar, and money dashboard;
  • sync your data across your devices (if you enable cloud sync);
  • send local reminders you schedule for deliverables, payments, and meetings;
  • process subscriptions, free trials, and entitlements;
  • maintain security, prevent abuse, debug, and improve the Service; and
  • comply with legal obligations.

4. AI processing

When you use the “organize” feature (in-app or via WhatsApp inbound), the text content of your note is transmitted to Anthropic, PBC (“Claude”) to convert it into structured data. Only the note content needed for that task is sent. We rely on Anthropic’s commercial terms, under which such inputs are not used to train their models. AI output may be inaccurate, so DealNote shows it for your review and confirmation before anything is saved. If you prefer not to use AI, you can enter and edit all data manually.

5. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with service providers (“sub-processors”) that help us run the Service, and as required by law:

Each provider processes data under its own privacy terms. We may also disclose information to comply with law, enforce our Terms, or protect rights, safety, and security, and in connection with a corporate transaction (e.g., merger or acquisition), subject to this Policy.

6. Storage, retention, and security

  • Local-first. Data is stored on your device and remains available offline.
  • Cloud sync (optional). When enabled, data is stored with per-user row-level security so that you can access only your own data, with realtime multi-device sync.
  • Encryption in transit. Network requests, including to the AI model and cloud backend, are made over encrypted connections.
  • Retention. We retain Your Content for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. You can delete individual items, or your whole account, at any time (Section 9). We may retain limited records where required by law.

No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live (including under GDPR and the CCPA/CPRA), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, export, or restrict processing of your personal data, and to object to certain processing. You can exercise most of these directly in the app, or by contacting us (Section 12). We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

You can also control device permissions (such as notifications) in your device settings, and subscriptions in your Apple or Google account.

8. Children

DealNote is a business tool intended for users 18 and older and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Deleting your data and account

You can:

  • Delete individual deals, files, contacts, and other items within the app;
  • Delete your account and associated cloud data from within the app (or by contacting us at carmon.amit@gmail.com); and
  • Remove local data by deleting the app from your device.

When you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your Content from our active systems within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law.

10. International transfers

Our service providers may process data in countries other than yours, including the United States. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers.

The Service relies on third-party platforms listed in Section 5, each governed by its own privacy policy. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties.

12. Contact

For privacy questions or requests, contact our data-protection contact at carmon.amit@gmail.com. The data controller is Funtika, governed by the laws of the country in which Funtika is established.

13. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be indicated by updating the “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, by in-app notice. Your continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
